Alex Huther, Levi Miller, and Kevin Perrette met the way a lot of great Texas country bands do; on a stage, mid-gig, as hired guns backing someone else's show. Between them, they had already put in the miles: Kevin was a fixture in the Kansas City music scene, playing bass for everything from rock and blues to alternative pop, while Alex brought the rhythmic soul of his birthplace in New Orleans to the upper Midwest. Levi, the San Antonio native, had been touring since most people learn to drive, shredding everything from rock to honky-tonk along the way.Â
Since 2021, they've racked up nearly 200 performances, backing artists like Kyle Park, Clay Hollis, Mason Lively, and a long list of South Texas staples. From tiny dive bars in San Antonio's South side, festivals with two-steppers as far as the eye can see, to arenas with some of the biggest acts in the region, they have been the choice for artists needing a band that gets it.
The group now moves further downstage, fronted by themselves, in hopes of becoming part of the soundtrack to those timeless neon-light South Texas nights.
